The things people usually ask
How long does a driveway take?
A standard double driveway is usually two to three hours. Paths and small jobs are often done inside an hour. I'll give you a realistic time when I quote — I'd rather tell you it's a long one up front.
Do you need my water and power?
Yes please — an outside tap and a power point is all I need. I keep the run time as short as I can.
Will it damage my concrete or paint?
Not when it's done sensibly. I back the pressure off around render, paint, soft mortar and garden beds, and I'll always test a small patch first if you're worried about a surface.
What if it rains?
I'll text you and we'll pick another day. No charge, no fuss.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer, whichever is easier, once you've had a look and you're happy with it.
Are you insured?
I'm a small local operator, not a licensed contractor — so no, I don't carry public liability insurance. I'm upfront about that. I stick to driveways, paths and paving, I'm careful, and I won't take on anything I'm not confident with.
